Forcare is looking for a new Senior Developer Cloud in Zeist, the Netherlands for the healthcare market.
Senior Developer Cloud
The software engineer builds and expands product software in the cloud for the healthcare market. For example Forcare’s IHE XDS from the cloud. Developing software is the core activity. Direct contact with customers and users in hospitals is “part of the job”.
Main objectives and activities:
- Works with the product owner and scrum master to understand and scope (high-level) features (stories).
- Estimates the size and investigates the development of high-level features (stories) to implement specific tasks (in teams).
- Implements features in a test-driven development process characterized by short cycles and daily interaction.
- Implements and maintains automated unit and integration testing, supported by a fully automated continuous build.
- Implements and maintains continuous integration (devops) using Puppet, Ansible and Jenkins.
Requirements
- An hbo+ or academic thinking and working level.
- At least 5 years of experience as a Java (preferred) and/or Python software developer with networking knowledge.
- Experience in the healthcare market is preferred.
- Hands-on experience with configuration management tools.
- Hands-on experience with setting up REST APIs using AWS services like IAM, CloudWatch, API Gateway, Lambda, CloudFormation, including automated rollout of these APIs using CLI tooling and scripting.
- As a Senior Cloud Developer you have the best of both worlds in individual and team working.
- You have good oral and written communication skills in English.
- Experience working in international team settings, especially for tender procedures.
- Affinity with SCRUM, version control, Test-Driven Development, (unit) testing, continuous builds, interoperability and lots of interaction between developers.
