Working on improving healthcare globally and steering Agile teams on the go? Help us from doing Agile to BEING Agile
Who are you?
As a Scrum Master you have experience with Agile methodologies (like SCRUM) for at least 3 years and act on a HBO/WO/University level. Most important is you get (own) the Agile way of working.
You have proven coaching skills, lead by example and you are a real motivator. You never stop learning and you’re always two (or more) steps ahead with your Agile knowledge. You like to play a pro-active part in the progression of yourself and the development department.
What you will do.
For 1 to 2 Agile development teams in Zeist you will be the dedicated Scrum Master, assisting in development of new (cloud-based) functionality to make the exchange of healthcare information effortless for medical doctors and their supportive staff.
Inspired by the Spotify model we work in Squads with 2 to 3 developers, a tester, automation engineer and you. Our sprints are bi-weekly and we release every 3 months.
As Scrum Master you will facilitate the teams with their flow and focus, pushing individual and team to the best they can be. You help, inspire and coach your fellow Scrum Masters (and viceversa) to increase the Agile maturity in the organization.
What we offer.
What Forcare offer besides the usual package, is an open workspace full of smart and pragmatic people with a straightforward communication style. The environment is small enough for you to be recognized for your achievements, yet Forcare/Philips is big enough to offer opportunities inside the Netherlands. We look honestly at ourselves and try to learn from our mistakes. There is good coffee, regular chocolate and a communal lunch where the CEO can sit next to an IT support intern. Besides working passionately to improve healthcare, we also allow ourselves to relax with activities that vary from cultural outings and coding challenges to indulging yourselves in (sometimes geeky) humor.
Forcare’s main message is “Empower your flow”. This message is directed at healthcare professionals and institutions alike. They do this through standards (IHE/HL7/DICOM) based exchange of medical information, like medical images, reports and other content. Content is unlocked from hospital silos to enable effortless sharing with users and institutions outside the hospital walls. We deliver our solutions on-premise and in the (AWS) cloud.
With offices in Zeist, The Netherlands (HQ, 60 people) and Toronto, Canada, Forcare is active in Europe, the Middle-East, Canada and the USA. Recently acquired by Philips, Forcare’s ambition is to grow at an accelerated pace in the coming years and seize the global increase in demand for interoperability and standardization in digital health care.
