VidaXL is seeking a team lead developer / Scrum Master to head a team of developers and expand the number of scrum teams. You will be working in a fast paced open-source based environment using agile methods.
Lead Developer / Scrum master
Your software will be deployed on all levels of the organization, ranging from front-end performance enhancements to expanding our enterprise service bus. Their sale channels and offices are located in the Netherlands, Romania, US east- and west-coast, China and Australia. This 24/7 operation requires rock solid software. Your colleagues are located in Shanghai, Bucharest, Venray and Utrecht. We are constantly looking for ways to improve our development methodologies and welcome fresh ideas and techniques. This position is located in Utrecht.
Responsibilities
- Coach your scrum team and supply them with ample feedback.
- Maintain an overview of your codebase and maintain technical integrity.
- Develop code with your scrum team through agile programming and code reviews.
- Review technical and functional designs.
- Keep up-to-date with the latest techniques and tools.
Requirements
You are smart and experienced in building web applications with open source technologies like PHP, Node.js or Angular.js. As our Lead Developer you have designed and built scalable & serious solutions, using open source databases like MariaDB, NoSQL, Elastic and MongoDB. You’re senior enough to coach a team of smart and willing developers. Fluent communication in the English language is an absolute must.
