As a Senior Software Engineer, you have worked in different environments and gathered experience in SCRUM and professional Java development in a sizeable codebase for at least 5 years.
What you will do
In one of the development teams in Zeist (it is a big plus if you live nearby), you develop new functionality to make the exchange of healthcare information effortless for medical doctors and their supportive staff. You make sure new functionality can be deployed and easily troubleshooted and maintained. This means you will also write unit tests and integration tests to expand the safety net. Additionally, as a senior developer, you will also coach other software developers and advise the CTO and other staff on process improvements and new technology choices. If coaching is not your habit (yet), Forcare is open for a Medior Software Engineer as well.
Who are you?
Experience in the healthcare domain (and with the aforementioned standards) is a big plus, but if you have another middleware or message processing oriented background, that is very welcome too!
In general, you have proven problem solving skills (HBO/WO/University level), preferably in a Unix/Linux network intensive (DevOps) environment. Plus you can express yourself effortless in a language like Java 8, English (preferably in Dutch too) and visually in drawings – so you can easily explain what you did in a stand-up or share your architecture decision with a co-worker. You like Test Driven Development (TDD) and a structured, careful way of working, which we think is essential for the medical domain.
